We recommend children age 5 attend our Preschool Camp. However, if they have completed Kindergarten and you are interested in enrolling them in our school age program, please call the office to sign them up.

School Aged (Ages 6-11) Summer Camp is offered at three park locations (Forest Park, Dillon Park, and Finch Creek Park). We also offer Preschool Camp for ages 3-5! For information or to register, call the Parks Office at 317-776-6350 or register online. Registration typically opens in February.
Each day campers should bring the following items: lunch and 2 healthy snacks, a water bottle, swimsuit, shoes for water activities, towel, extra pair of clothes, spray sunscreen and bug spray. Please also bring a bag for all of their belongings. All items should be clearly labeled with your child's name on it.
Yes. We ask that campers bring their own spray sunscreen and bug spray for counselors to help apply.
Yes, camp happens rain or shine. In the case of excessive rain or severe weather, Forest Park campers will be relocated to the Lodge, Dillon Park campers will relocate to the indoor shelter below the maintenance garage, and Finch Creek campers will relocate the the Fieldhouse.
Yes, campers spend the majority of their time outdoors. We do have picnic shelters throughout the parks to provide shade from the sun. Additionally, we have back up options available in case of inclement weather.
Both preschool and school aged campers at Forest Park will go to the Forest Park Aquatic Center once a week. Campers at Dillon Park and Finch Creek Park will have access to the splash pads and daily water activities.
